Eric helps develop his clients’ intellectual property (IP) assets using 15+ years of experience in mechanical and manufacturing engineering technology. His practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution, patent analysis, IP due diligence, and IP portfolio management.
Eric works in a variety of technical areas including, mechanical devices, manufacturing technology, propulsion systems, materials science, data storage systems, semiconductor devices, telecommunications, electronics, consumer goods, and Internet-based technology.
Eric regularly volunteers as an alumni judge for the Colorado School of Mines Senior Design Program at the College of Engineering. He also regularly volunteers as an IP consultant for the Boulder Small Business Development Center. Eric is a licensed pilot and is currently building an airplane. He enjoys spending time with his family, including camping in the summer and snow skiing in the winter.
