Jay is an experienced patent attorney with expertise in a broad range of technical disciplines, including software, hardware, networks, cybersecurity, machine learning, medical devices, sensors, flow measurement devices, and mechanical devices. Jay’s background in chemical engineering and electrical engineering provides him with a firm foundation from which to understand most technological fields.
Jay’s patent prosecution practice extends to several international jurisdictions, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Europe, India, Japan, South Korea, Russia, and Singapore. He also has experience with trademarks, copyrights, intellectual property strategy, intellectual property compliance, enforcement, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, and other general transactional work. Jay invests heavily in his clients to provide the best possible service and is happy to meet his clients on-site and learn every aspect of their technologies.
In his spare time, Jay enjoys playing guitar, singing, exercising, beer-gardening, nerding out on the newest technologies, watching science-fiction, and trading.
