Kevin Peurrung

Kevin helps clients achieve their goals through patent preparation and prosecution, patent analysis (including patentability, invalidity, and infringement analysis), trademark registration, and more. His communication skills, argumentative creativity, and work ethic drive his practice. Kevin has particular experience serving small and start-up clients from his years counseling aspiring innovators through both the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic and Patent Law Clinic at the University of Colorado School of Law.

Kevin leverages his background in physics and orthopedic engineering to practice in a variety of fields, including computer hardware, micro-fluids, medical devices, mechanical devices, chemical engineering, electronics, and consumer products.

Outside of the office, Kevin is usually running, hiking, or mountaineering with his wife and their dog, Poptart. Kevin also enjoys baking, cooking, woodshop, and graphic design. An active member of the legal community, he mentors prospective law students and future lawyers, and participates in the Colorado IP Inn of Court.
