Ross Breyfogle

Ross’ practice focuses on patent protection and the intellectual property aspects of technology-related assessments, transactions, due diligence, and strategic counseling. He has extensive experience with a variety of client business environments, including companies ranging from small start-ups to large established businesses, venture capital groups, research institutions, joint ventures/technology collaborations, government research, procurement, mergers, and reorganizations.

Ross is quick to familiarize himself with client technology and related business objectives to maximize value to that client. His experience with technologies includes chemicals, chemical processing, materials, drug delivery, medical treatments, nutritional supplements, medical devices, regenerative medicine, biopharmaceutical analytical instrumentation and reagents, batteries, fuel cells, polymers, photovoltaics, micro-machined devices, natural resources, alternative fuels, water treatment, process control, carbon capture, and food processing.

Prior to practicing law, Ross had seven years of engineering experience with Exxon Company, USA. Since then, he has worked with boutique intellectual property firms and joins HPD in the Summer of 2023.
